Message	results in chromium carbide precipitation depleting the chromium and allowing corrosion to get started. Alloys 321 or 347 are specifically designed to avoid this. Low carbon "L" versions such as 304L and 316L are also somewhat better. what? It looks a little stumpy, but fits great in the hand! (n/m) - ZEngineer 12/12/06
